Conservation Work

The land is our most valuable asset. With this in mind, preserving, restoring and protecting this is central to our farming practices. We are committed to ensure that we “tread lightly” to ensure that we leave our patch in a healthy, fertile state for future generations.

History of Mill Farm

We have been farming organically for over twenty years. During this time, many changes have been made that we feel have had a really positive impact on our land and landscape. We have established several miles of new hedgerows and field margins, planted hundreds of trees, fenced off sensitive river banks (to prevent erosion), created areas of wild bird cover to provide vital winter food, reinstated traditional field boundaries and much more……and all of this alongside and in harmony with our core farming activities – producing great tasting, high quality Beef, Lamb and Pork.
